ABOUT

Tech Image 2Welcome to a realm where whimsy and allure intertwine, where the fantastical dances with the suggestive. PinkTail Studio specializes in crafting enchanting drawings and sketches featuring adorable faeries, mischievous elves, elusive nymphs, and a myriad of other imaginary creatures straight from the realms of fantasy. Naturally, there is also a special place for cute witches as they explore the ways of magic.

Although the artworks are typically whimsical and playful, there is usually a hint of something lurking beneath, something uneasy, maybe scary. You'll find the faeries frolicking in the forest, seemingly unaware (or blissfully ignorant) of the fantastical creatures around them - creatures that might easily rip them apart, but bring nothing but delight to these magical beings. We can only hope they know what they're dealing with.

Some images depicts encounters between regular human girls and the denizens of the fantasy realm, their ordinary lives intersecting with the extraordinary. Are the random meetings a blessing and good omen, or the contrary - an unwise interaction with something that should be left alone.

PTS is open for commissions of all sorts. No matter what your project is about, expect art that sparks the imagination, invites you to explore the hidden world, and perhaps evokes a sense of danger. Whether it's a charming scene of faeries at play or an unexpected rendezvous with a mythical creature, PTS will make sure you're satisfied with the final product and come back for more.

TRADITIONAL ART

Apart from digital art, PTS creates hand-drawn, small-to-large drawings and paintings, that can be purchased in several ways. I use only original Japanese quill pens, brush pens, and markers from companies like Kuretake, Tachikawa, Zebra, Ecoline and Faber-Castell, each carefully chosen to bring the desired depth, vibrancy, and aboundance of details. Illustrations are all original, never repeated or copied, providing unique decoration for your wall (or to your hidden stash should you be resticted as to what you are able to proudly display).

Tech Image 1Artworks may have one or more distinctive features. Golden, silver, pink, and red accents, are sometimes made with special colored inks, to add an eye-catching detail. Original screentones - a grayscale pattern, traditionally utilized in Japanese manga - is sometimes applied to add the classic feel. Nowadays, it's almost a forgotten technique, even among Japanese artists, who, almost collectively, went digital. Process may be time-consuming (and pricey - only one Japanese company delivers them overseas and it's bloody expensive), but it adds to the charm. Additional scrapbooking elements are occasionally used as well.

The paper I use is sourced from renowned brands like Clairefontaine, Deleter or Daler Rowney. It's the foundation of my artwork, durable and firm, a guarantee that your artwork will last for a long time without losing any of its quality. Larger illustrations are typically done on A3 or B4 format paper, smaller on A4, and they each have a number. Each piece additionally carries a small PinkTail Studio stamp and signature. Purchased artworks are sent within 24 hours using priority postal service in a secure shipping tube.

Physical artworks are available on PTS's Etsy and Gumroad. As it was mentioned, each artwork is done only once, so if you're interested, don't wait - no digital copies will be available.

There is a possibility of creating a traditional artwork as a commission, similarily to the digital ones. If you are interested in ordering a particular scenery or scene, please get in touch. Each request is arranged according to available time, and sold via Etsy or Gumroad. For queries, use any of the contact methods outlined in "Follow" section.

CONTACT / ART COMMISSIONS

If you have any questions or would like to order an individual, custom artwork, feel free to get in touch. Don't be shy! All subject matters and scenarios are welcomed. You can also use PTS's Fiverr account to place your order, if you want to include a "middle man", though keep in mind, Fiverr charges an extra percentage. If you want to order +18 NSFW art (which is totally fine), better contact PTS directly using the email below, since the freelancing platforms are not exactly friendly towards certain themes.

When ordering art, make sure to incude description, reference, examples, etc. - the more information, the faster the possible approval and more precise the quote. Also, make sure to include information if you are looking for traditional artwork or digital. Note that NSFW art is done only digitally.
