Return & Refund Policy

PinkTail Studio (PTS) has a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. Please check the information on this page for details. If you have any questions or need additional clarification, feel free to contact PTS at any time via Contact page.

Eligibility and returning the item

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need to attach printed receipt or proof of purchase.

Should you wish to return the artwork, you have to contact PTS first at contact@pinktail.studio

 

Items sent back to PTS without first requesting a return, will not be eligible for refunds. If your return request is accepted, you have to find a suitable shipping company as well as pay the shipping fee. Returns should be send to:

Once PTS has received the product and everything is in order, I will process the refund and you will receive a full refund for the product, minus the delivery fee.

Damages and delivery issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact PTS immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong artwork (though this is very unlikely), so that I can evaluate the issue and take proper steps.

If your artwork came in damaged, please follow the instructions:

  1. Take clear photos of the artwork damage (overall and close-up)

  2. Take the photo of the entire print

  3. Take a photo of the package label (text/barcode must be legible)

  4. Taka a photo of the packaging inside: bubble wrap condition, corner protectors (in case of canvas print), inside of the cardboard box or tube (in case of posters)

  5. Take a photo of the outside of the package if there is a physical damage to it visible

Photos need to be in focus (not blurry) and in high resolution. Please send them, along with your order details, to contact@pinktail.studio

Exceptions and non-returnable items

Items like custom products (such as commissioned artworks), artworks purchased on sale, and gift cards cannot be returned.

Exchange for a different artwork

If you purchased a wrong artwork, the fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to successfully return the item you have, and then make a separate purchase for the new item. If one item is returned, PTS will not automatically send a different artwork to the same buyer, even if the price is the same – a separate purchase needs to be made.

Refunds

PTS will notify you once your return has been received and inspected, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be refunded within 24h on your original payment method or (if it’s not possible), you will be contacted to provide an alternate way of receiving the funds. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Order cancellation

Cancellation requests for orders are accepted within the first 24 hours following the order placement. You may request a cancellation within the initial 24 hours after placing the order. If a cancellation request is made within this time-frame, the order will be canceled, and the payment will be refunded in full.


If a cancellation request is submitted 24 hours after the order placement, PTS will still cancel the order; however, the payment made for the order will be forfeited. This is due to the commencement of the production process, which incurs costs and resources on PTS side.

Unclaimed package and forfeiture of payment

If your package is returned to PTS due to repeated unsuccessful delivery attempts or other reasons beyond the studio’s control, and/or you choose not to pay any additional shipping fees that may occur (e.g. local tariffs), your original payment for the order will be forfeited. I regret that I will not be able to provide a refund in this situation, as I have fulfilled my responsibilities to ship the product as per your initial order.
